Yoko London is one of the world’s leading luxury pearl jewellers. For three generations, they have been relentless in their pursuit of rare, natural-coloured South Sea pearls, to create their breathtakingly beautiful and universally coveted designs. Some pieces take years to complete while the Yoko team travels the world in search of pearls of exactly the right size, colour and lustre. This passion for perfection led to their being chosen as official jewellery partner of the EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Opera House.
Yoko wanted to reposition themselves in the British jewellery market. They tasked me with refreshing their corporate identity and art-directing a photoshoot for a spectacular new advertising campaign to coincide with a high-profile exhibition at the V&A Museum. I created a new identity that builds on Yoko’s existing brand strengths and successfully communicates the reliability, trust and quality of this third-generation family business. I created an enhanced and easy-to-use online portfolio and a visually appealing showcase for their exquisite collections.
